The T2 and TE2 valves are designed with interchangeable orifice assemblies, making them versatile for various valve bodies, refrigerants, and evaporating temperature ranges. The thermostatic element charge is tailored to the specific refrigerant and evaporating temperature. The valves come with two options for pressure equalization: internal (T2) and external (TE2). For systems with liquid distributors, external pressure equalization is recommended.
The valves feature a fast-reacting bulb that provides precise temperature control in the evaporator, which is secured using a patented Danfoss bulb strap for easy and reliable installation. The valves are also designed to handle the conditions experienced during hot gas defrosting, ensuring durability. The valve cone and seat are constructed from a special alloy known for its excellent wear resistance, contributing to a long operational life.
